The Wonders of Collecting

Don't know when I started getting so carried away, but when I started noticing the camera's of my dreams from many years ago selling for little more than parts value, something kicked in and I started buying.  Most of them were in fact bought at junk prices.  Next thing I know I am seeing common denominators among many of them. Just like my old Chevy Muscle Cars, they tend to all have the same problems once you get your hands on them.

    I am retired at the moment. I intended to just go take pictures but couldn't settle on the right camera for the job that was consistently the right one. In troubled times, people start selling and there is no doubt these are troubled times.  With the militant screeching of digital voices and real camera stores going out of business right and left, you can't help but wonder how anyone ever took a picture before computer sensors starting being called "camera".
